Heart initiative inspired by Yusuffali seeks applications for surgeries 

VPS Healthcare has invited applications from parents of deserving children for its Golden Heart Initiative, a philanthropic endeavour committed to undertaking 50 life-saving heart surgeries for children with congenital heart diseases.

This unique initiative by Dr Shamsheer Vayalil’s VPS Healthcare is inspired by Lulu Group International Chairman Yusuffali M A’s remarkable 50 years of impactful presence in the UAE. It represents a heartfelt tribute to Yusuffali’s extraordinary life and his unwavering dedication to philanthropy, said a statement.

Parents are invited to submit their applications and the necessary documentation to
hope@vpshealth.com. The required documents include the child’s medical report and contact details.

The surgeries will be conducted in specialised hospitals under the umbrella of Burjeel Holdings, spanning the UAE and Oman, as well as Dr Shamsheer’s hospitals in India.

The Golden Heart Initiative, spearheaded by Dr Shamsheer, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings, specifically focuses on children with congenital heart diseases. It aims to support those from conflict zones and underprivileged backgrounds, acknowledging the financial challenges faced by many families dealing with these critical health issues, the statement said.
